I quite literally fell into this role, because several years ago, I needed encouragement, nurturing, inspiration and guidance (and I still do) and didn’t quite know where to get it from. I had just gotten "released" from my anxiety-ridden job and unwillingly moved from New York to Chicago and pretty much fell into entrepreneurship. Boy, was I in for the biggest shock of my life! Things were quite the opposite of how I envisioned my new journey and I eventually sank into a deep depression, secluding myself from the world, not embracing my new environment and wanting to run back to corporate America in New York City with my tail tucked in between my legs. 

I am SO glad that God's ways are higher than ours! I am literally putting one foot in front of the other - right past fear as a full-time owner of The PR Shoppe, an integrated marketing and PR agency where we help emerging and established brands strategically connect with their target markets.
